Carpet installers are necessary for those who are not qualified do it yourselfers when you wish to install wall-to-wall carpet in one or more rooms of your home.
Because carpet is an investment in your home, you simply don't want to take chances with trying to install it yourself unless you have experience in this field.
It's just too easy to ruin an expensive roll of carpeting.

How to Shop for Carpet Installers
Depending on the carpet stores at which you shop, you may find that installation can be included in your purchase. In these cases, don't jump at the deal until you compare the carpet costs for the same carpeting from another source which doesn't offer installation and learn the cost of professional installation as a separate expense. Sometimes the cost of the carpet combined with the carpet installers service will add up to more than if you buy the carpet and contract the installation yourself. In other cases, you get a much better deal by purchasing from a carpet store which offers installation when you purchase carpet for at least one or more rooms.
If you choose to contract from local carpet installers yourself, there are a few things to be sure to inquire about. Ask the installation company whether they are bonded and insured. This term "bonded" means that the company and employees have qualified for and purchased surety bonds which required a background check as to their trustworthiness. The fact that they are insured means that any accidental damage to your home, including irrepairable damage to your new flooring, will be paid for, preventing financial loss to you. For example, if the carpet installers happen to drop Grandmother's antique china cabinet while moving it prior to the installation, you'll be reimbursed. Of course, there is no way to replace the sentimental value, but at least the value of the expensive item will be reimbursed.
Ask the potential carpet installers how long the company has been in business and ask for one or two references that you may contact. Just because the company is new isn't necessarily a bad thing, but if it has been in business only a short time, ask the owner how long he or she has been involved in the business of carpet installation. It is often the case that a person who has worked as a carpet installer for years decided to go out on their own and open a business. Just be sure the level of experience on the part of owner and staff is extensive. Contact references and learn if they enjoyed good service and would hire these installers if they purchased additional carpet.
Price for carpet installers varies widely, so you want to do some comparison shopping among those installers who have approximately the same experience level. Having invested in quality carpet, you'll want to spend as little as possible for carpet installers while ensuring you get great service and perfect installation.
